In cities time runs at 3:1, i.e. 1 min real time = 3 mins in game time. In open countryside time runs at ~19:1, i.e. 1 min real time = ~19 mins in game time. So if you’re traveling at a constant 60kph indicated, in a city you cover 3km per min, on the open road you cover ~19km per min whereas in real life you would only cover 1km per min

The time scale depends on where you are. In some places such as cities or service stations it is about 3x faster than the real time while elsewhere it runs much faster (15-19x). Última alteração por Maiteria ; 16 mar. 2014 às 9:26

Thoughts on the 1:1 Time Scale mod. I finally got around to trying the 1:1 Time Scale mod. It really does bring the game to a new level! It's such a treat to see the game with a 1:1 Time Scale and seeing the sky change so gradually, especially with sunrises and sunsets. It has also given me a deeper appreciation for the scenery during a sunrise

Max wrote: there is one small detail in new patch that can help you: you can set your own map scale. the three original scales (19, 15, and 3) should be marked as the original scales. a option to set map scale is good but only if the original scales are marked as the ones originally used to make the map. Thanks for the answers.
I took a watch and tried what you said On a highway, 10min in-game. 0 kph : 32s (T junction) / 90 kph : 32s. In a city, 2min in-game. 0 kph : 43s / could not manage a 90 kph :-x. I must find a red light outside of a city but I would suppose it would a slower zone.
