double-check that you have unpacked any zipped archives into the Mod folder. i have found that most mods won't work unless the .SCS file is visible in the mod folder. double-check any readme's that came with the mods in case there are special instructions for it's destination. when you go into the mod manager up top there is a filter for "workshop items only" click that and if there ARE mods and theyre up to date then they will show up there .
